CardioControl's performance diagnostics and sports-specific tailored analysis are accessible again from May 2021. The service provides a comprehensive series of tests for athletes looking to calibrate their sports watch and maximize their performance safely. Tests will begin with a five-minute warmup, followed by exercises that progressively increase in intensity performed on a treadmill or on a bicycle ergometer. These procedures help to evaluate the maximum heart rate (HRmax) and oxygen consumption (VO2max), and enhance training intensity zones.

The price includes a measurement protocol and a sports-specific, personalized analysis based on this protocol. Tests involve the calibration of sports watches, VO2max measurement, HRmax measurement, lactate threshold measurement, running pace optimization, performance diagnostics training tests for triathlon athletes, and competition-specific tests. If necessary, measurements can be done using one's own bicycle. The primary purpose of the tests is to maximize workout and competition performance while retaining health safety.
Not included
Pricing for on-the-track measurements of running or bicycling and information concerning scheduling a fitness test and follow-up appointments are not included in the basic fee. For these services interested individuals need to request a price quote separately. The cost also doesn't include any specific medical, diagnostic or wellness tests, procedures or treatments, nor does it cover any post-testing consultation or physical therapy sessions. Any additional services beyond the scope of the performance diagnostic tests and personalised analysis based on the tests have to be discussed and scheduled separately with CardioControl. Also, while the tests can provide valuable data on an individual's performance level and capabilities, a fitness assessment at CardioControl is not a substitute for a professional medical examination. It does not include a physical examination, illness diagnosis or treatment.
